Pied Monarch – Arses kaupi
Fairly common resident at all altitudes in rainforest, and adjoining casuarina or wet sclerophyll forest.
Try: Jourama Falls, Murray Falls, South Johnstone, Mowbray State Forest (near Julatten)
● Look for a small pied bird foraging up and round tree trunks in the manner of a treecreeper
